About TIE GUAN YIN OOLONG
Tie Guan Yin, translating to "Iron Goddess of Mercy," is one of the most revered oolongs in the world, celebrated for its meticulous and demanding craftsmanship. Following centuries-old techniques, the leaves are carefully bruised, partially oxidized, and repeatedly wrapped and rolled into dense clusters to preserve their natural essential oils. As the tightly bound leaves unfurl during steeping, they release an intoxicating, long-lasting floral fragrance. The resulting cup is exceptionally smooth and medium-bodied, offering a complex, naturally sweet orchid character that culminates in a refined, elegantly clean finish.
