Begin your Thursday with intention. In the quiet warmth of Charmaro Teahouse, you'll slow down, pick up a brush, and let ink lead the way — guided by the practice of Shufa (書法), Chinese calligraphy as a mindfulness art.

No experience needed. All brushes, ink, and paper are provided. Space is kept intentionally small for an intimate experience. Hosted by Teresa Kung of Calligraphy Zen and the team at Charmaro.

An introductory journey into the world of Chinese tea. This beginner-friendly masterclass takes you through the Six Great Categories of Chinese Tea — Green, White, Yellow, Oolong, Black, and Dark (Pu-erh) — exploring how each is grown, processed, and brewed to reveal its unique character.

You'll also get hands-on with traditional teaware: learn to identify each vessel, understand its role in the brewing ritual, and discover how the right tools elevate every cup. No prior knowledge required — just a curiosity for tea and a willingness to slow down.

Each session runs 1.5 hours and is kept small for an intimate, immersive experience.
