About ANCIENT METHOD OOLONG
The "Ancient Method" (Gu Fa) represents a return to the rigorous, heritage craftsmanship of classic oolong production. Following centuries-old traditions, the carefully plucked leaves undergo an intensive, slow-baking process over smoldering hardwood charcoal. This painstaking, artisanal technique requires immense skill to slowly coax out the tea's deepest flavor compounds without burning the leaf.
